Kenley is the most awesome little 1 year old red head I have ever met. She has the funniest little growly laugh and quickly becomes anyone’s new best friend. This was extra fun for me since I was so close and yet so far to meeting little Kenley when I shot her mama’s baby shower last year. We did a two part shoot with both portraits-fun and then party-fun and we got so lucky with one of our last pretty days of the fall!
Enjoy all the fun and welcome to the most epic Elmo birthday party of all time!
Liz and I had the great pleasure of spending a fun and fabulous day with Thomas and Kati (and Remington made an appearance!). Kati and Thomas are full of laughs, smiles, and love and are surrounded by a group of people that know how to have a good time! It was a beautiful day full of joy and happiness. Congratulations you guys and I hope your big southern road trip honeymoon was a blast!
I don’t even know how to express the beauty of this day. I have known Shannon since we were kids, back to the days of Pioneer Girls. Her and her family are very close to my heart, which made this an extra special wedding to shoot. The details that Shannon and Trevor put into this are endless: from the backyard that has been perfected for this day, to the twinkle lights wrapped throughout the trees, to Shannon’s hand piece that was sewn from pieces of her mom’s wedding dress. Everything about this day was intentional and special. On top of that, Shannon and Trevor are so incredibly in love and such a perfect compliment to each other that you just want to be around them and experience their joy. This day was a delight to shoot and an honor to be a part of. Blessings to you both and yes, I would love to join you for a wake boarding trip sometime. 🙂
I had a BLAST hanging out with this adorable family at Cranbrook a couple weekends ago! Let me tell you, this family LOVES TO LAUGH. It was so fun hanging out with these kids, doing animal voices, rapping, you know, normal stuff. Thanks for the fun you guys!
Welcome Miss Lennon Jacklene Booker to the blog. The cutest little baby bug on the block. Yes she is.
We aim for once a year. We just try to get one photo of the whole family as we grow in age and in size. We have been doing this for probably 6 or 7 years now and it gets more exciting every year because there just keeps being more and more kids! This day also happened to be my nephew Isaac’s first birthday, so he got his own photo session. AND the Cooke family wanted to get some nice ones because we already all looked a little nicer than normal. Here is what I saw.
You may recognize these two from my LAST blog post. That is because we did their engagement session the week before the wedding! Jamie and Sean found each other not too long ago, but as they say, “when you know, you know.” And trust me, they are so right for each other. Their story is simple: they were so focused on their own relationships with God that it took Him to point them towards each other. And that is what made this day so incredibly moving; the whole day was spent in praise, love, and thanks. And if you are wondering, YES, a wedding can be planned in less than 6 weeks.
Jamie and Sean wanted a chance to pray together before the ceremony. IF you are a traditionalist, don’t worry, Sean didn’t get to see her, but she definitely saw him. This moment was so special, I can’t even describe it.
Melissa and Ryan are expecting a new little person in their lives! They had the awesome idea of theming their baby shower around a gender reveal, and invited me to be part of their day. I had so much fun getting to know them and I hope I get to meet their new lithe….. girl!
